Mutaflor
Mutaflor is the only medical probiotic that contains good E. coli in the form of the Nissle 1917 strain, protective against many forms of bad E. coli and other bad bacteria that may attack the gut.
Nissle 1917 is a natural colonizer, that when introduced into the gut, rapidly regulates bowel movements, stimulates defence systems, reduces gut inflammation, repairs leaky gut conditions, displaces and kills many forms of bad bacteria, and improves dietary nutrition.

Directions
For adults and adolescents, 1-4 capsules of Mutaflor may be consumed per dosing depending on purpose. For general gut health and gut protection, 1 capsule of Mutaflor is taken each morning before meals. For normalizing bowel movements and consistency, 1-2 capsules 3x/day is taken for 2 weeks then reduced gradually to 1 capsule per day. For medical conditions like inflammatory bowel diseases, consult a physician and take accordingly – treatment is for at least a year.

Product Information
20mg dry powder of Lactobacillus acidophilus corresponding to 109 – 1010 viable bacteria per gram.
For adults, take 3 chewable tablets one to three times daily. For infants, take 1 chewable tablet one to three times daily.
Method of administration
The tablets should be chewed and swallowed thereafter together with the meals. For infants the chewable tablet should be given chopped up in milk or mash at the right temperature.
Duration of administration
Treatment of acute intestinal complaints until the symptoms improve.
In case of chronic dysfunctions, treatment of at least 6 weeks is recommended.
Traditionally used as a mild medicine to support the function of the intestine, e.g. in case of under-activity of the intestine and diarrhea.
In children from the first year up to the age of six Paidoflor may only be used under medical
supervision.
The use of this product has supportive nature and should be used in case of illness only as a supplement to other effective therapeutic measures. Particularly in case of diarrhoea, especially in children and the elderly, Paidoflor does not replace the necessary treatment for fluid replacement as well as other measures such as the temporary waiver of solid food.
In principle, with diarrhoea lasting longer than 2 days or accompanied by blood in the stool, circulatory disorders or a rise in temperature, a doctor should be consulted.
Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-
galactose malabsorption should not take Paidoflor. 1 chewable tablet contains 0.97 g lactose (as a source of 0.485 g glucose and 0.08 bread units (BU). You should take this into account if
you are on a diabetes-diet.
